As a CBRE Quality and Compliance Sr. Manager, you will beresponsible for supervising the team that supports quality assurance deliverablesfor a large, growing Life Sciences client located in Concord, NC assisting inthe manufacturing of pharmaceutical products
The Sr Quality and Compliance Manager will lead all QArelated initiatives at the client site supporting a full range FacilityMaintenance scope of services. Initiativesinclude:
Preventativeand Corrective Maintenance Work order reviews
Trainingof staff on compliance related topics including Good Documentation Practices
Auditingof Facility Maintenance Staff
Investigatingand authoring deviations, change controls and Corrective Actions.
Developmentof SOP’s
MonitoringKey Quality Metrics tracking and trending
AuthoringSupplier and Site Quality agreements
This is a fully onsite role Monday-Friday in Concord, NCwith up to 10% travel. Role may growinto accommodating multi-site support.
What You’ll Do: Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees. Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed. Execute both company and confidential client compliance programs and participate in continuous improvement objectives. Create initiatives and communicate issues across the functional areas. Report compliance status to key stakeholders and sr. management regularly. Manage the execution and evaluate the success of the quality-of-service initiatives for non-regulated services. Report Compliance (among other quality and business metrics) status to the client during review meetings; appropriately escalates and notifies CBRE and client management of quality and compliance issues. Oversee the inspection readiness program for the site. Manage audits as well as serve as the primary quality representative for operations. Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans. Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity. Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department. Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline.
What You’ll Need: Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Must hold Life Sciences/ Pharmaceutical/ GMP Quality & Compliance experience including supporting audits, CAPAs, investigations, and multi-site support. Client and vendor interfacing with strong relationship management and high level of business acumen. Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred. Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
