Job Summary
We are a licensed Maryland cannabis processor looking for a driven Wholesale Sales Manager to lead and grow our dispensary account base throughout the state.
This is not just a brand ambassador or pop-up role. We are looking for someone who can manage buyer relationships, drive reorders, open new retail accounts, build weekly sales momentum, and turn field activity into consistent wholesale revenue.
The ideal candidate already understands the Maryland cannabis market, has experience working with dispensary buyers or retail cannabis teams, and knows how to balance relationship-building with follow-up, reporting, compliance, and sales accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow wholesale relationships with licensed Maryland dispensaries
- Maintain regular communication with buyers, managers, and key retail decision-makers
- Prospect and onboard new dispensary accounts
- Build weekly reorder systems and follow up consistently on open opportunities
- Present new products, limited releases, promotions, and wholesale programs to retail buyers
- Coordinate with internal production, inventory, operations, and logistics teams to support customer demand
- Work with the brand ambassador team to schedule pop-ups, trainings, Talking Terps visits, and in-store activations
- Turn budtender feedback and field activity into buyer follow-up and purchase orders
- Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, shelf space, and product launches
- Maintain accurate CRM notes, account records, sales pipeline, and weekly reporting
- Help forecast demand by account, product category, and territory
- Ensure all sales and promotional activities follow Maryland cannabis regulations and company compliance standards
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in cannabis wholesale, cannabis retail buying, dispensary management, CPG sales, alcohol/beverage sales, or another regulated wholesale industry
- Strong existing relationships in the Maryland cannabis market preferred
- Ability to confidently communicate with dispensary buyers and decision-makers
- Strong follow-up habits and the ability to ask for the order
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable using CRM, spreadsheets, sales reports, and weekly account tracking
- Understanding of margins, pricing, promotions, product launches, and account growth
- Comfortable traveling throughout Maryland for account visits, meetings, events, and store support
- Professional, compliant, and able to protect confidential pricing and company information
- Must be able to work closely with leadership, production, operations, marketing, and field staff

Compensation
Compensation will include a base salary plus performance-based incentives or commission, based on experience and existing account relationships.
Schedule & Travel
This is a full-time role with regular travel throughout Maryland. Some evenings, events, store visits, pop-ups, and industry functions may be required.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
