Job Overview
Red Moon Elite is currently seeking experienced Industrial Pipefitters and Pipe Welders for long-term industrial projects in South Carolina and North Carolina. We are looking for dependable, safety-conscious professionals with experience working in industrial environments. These positions offer competitive pay, long-term work opportunities, and per diem for qualified travelers.
Responsibilities
Pipefitters
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, thread, and install various types of industrial piping systems.
- Install supports, hangers, valves, and related piping components.
- Perform layout and fit-up of piping systems.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and according to project specifications.
Pipe Welders
- Weld carbon steel and stainless steel piping systems.
- Perform quality welds in accordance with project requirements.
- Read and interpret isometric drawings and welding specifications.
- Inspect welds and maintain high-quality workmanship standards.
- Follow all site safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of industrial pipefitting or pipe welding experience preferred.
- Experience working on industrial construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and isometric drawings.
- Must provide your own tools and gang box.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite.
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Pass a background check.
- Participate in a phone interview prior to placement.
- Complete required onboarding documentation.
Testing Requirements
Pipefitters:
Applicants must complete a multiple-choice skills assessment and achieve a score of 80% or higher. Open blue book test.

Welders:
Process: GTAW (TIG)
- 6G Stainless Schedule 80 Pipe Test
- Test duration: Approximately 3 hours
- Welds will be X-rayed for inspection
- Material: 2” Schedule 80 pipe (.218” wall thickness)
Please Bring the Following
- Valid identification
- All required PPE
- Welding tools (wire brush, grinder, files, etc.)
Note: Any tool equipped with a handle and guard must have both installed and in use.
Client will provide consumables such as grinding pads.
Testing Information
Location: Davidson, NC
Schedule: Monday- Friday @7AM (BY APPOINTMENT ONLY)
