Milestone Football Sevens League (MF7L) is building a premier national youth 7-on-7 football league focused on elite competition, athlete development, media exposure, and unforgettable event experiences. As we continue to expand across the United States, we are seeking an experienced Sales Director to help drive revenue growth and build a high-performing sales organization.
Position Summary
The Sales Director will lead the growth of MF7L by recruiting, training, and managing a team of 20 Sales Associates while also developing strategic partnerships and generating new business. This is a leadership position for someone who thrives in a performance-driven environment and enjoys building teams, closing deals, and creating scalable sales systems.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of 20 Sales Associates.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
- Establish sales goals and hold team members accountable for results.
- Build a culture of professionalism, discipline, and continuous improvement.
Business Development
- Generate new team registrations for MF7L events and leagues.
- Secure corporate sponsorships and advertising partnerships.
- Develop relationships with youth football organizations, coaches, schools, and athletic directors.
- Recruit vendors and exhibitors for league events and tournaments.
- Identify new revenue opportunities and strategic partnerships.
Sales Operations
- Manage the sales pipeline and customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Track sales activity, conversion rates, and revenue performance.
- Work with the marketing team to convert leads into customers.
- Prepare sales reports and recommend strategies for continued growth.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales leadership and team management.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience recruiting, coaching, and motivating sales professionals.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Organized, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
- Experience using CRM software is preferred.
- Sports industry experience is a plus but not required.
Compensation
This is a 100% commission-based leadership position with no cap on earnings.
Sales Directors earn commissions from qualifying sales generated under the company’s compensation plan while leading and developing a team of 20 Sales Associates. Your earning potential is directly tied to your personal performance, your team’s success, and the overall growth of the league.
