Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our team on 1099 Contract base. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse tasks, including loading and unloading packages, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse processes. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.
Duties
- Load and unload packages from delivery trucks and containers.
- Manage inventory by tracking stock levels and conducting regular counts.
- Operate pallet jacks and cherry pickers to move products safely within the warehouse.
- Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in heavy lifting of goods as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of warehouse operations.
- Participate in training for heavy equipment operation as needed.
Skills
- Proficiency in package handling and order fulfillment processes.
- Experience with inventory management systems is preferred.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as pallet jacks and cherry pickers safely.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking and inventory management.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
