Job Description: As a Videographer at We The People Holsters, you will play a critical role in creating engaging video content that promotes our products, brand, and values. We The People Holsters is seeking a talented social creative who has a passion for content conceptualization and creation. You constantly have your pulse on the latest TikTok trends and social platforms, with a natural curiosity about what’s starting to trend and the ability to move at the speed of culture to seamlessly integrate it into best-in-class content opportunities for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop video concepts that align with brand objectives and target audience.
- Capture high-quality footage for a variety of purposes, including product showcases, instructional videos, promotional content, and social media campaigns.
- Recommend and test new formats and creative ideas inspired by cultural moments, platform trends, and the competitive landscape
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of a diverse range of content including short form, long form, Tik-Tok Live, social content, advertisements, and more.
- Edit raw footage into polished videos, including adding graphics, sound effects, and music as needed.
- Ensure all video content is consistent with the brand’s visual style and tone of voice.
- Operate and maintain video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear.
- Plan and execute video shoots, including setting up lighting, framing shots, and directing talent.
- Work with the creative team to produce video content that enhances marketing campaigns and increases engagement on social media platforms.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of video content.
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met and content is delivered on time.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Videographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of video projects.
- Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Experience with video production equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and pacing in video production.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to take direction and implement feedback effectively.
- Creativity and passion for producing high-quality visual content.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in shooting and editing videos related to firearms, outdoor activities, or similar industries.
- Familiarity with the firearm industry and an understanding of our target audience.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and 3D animation is a plus.
- Experience with Facebook and Google advertising is a plus.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Video Production, Media Arts, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience in videography and video editing.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends, depending on project needs.
