Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate After-Care Teacher to join our brand new facility and team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that fosters the intellectual and emotional growth of each child ranging from 6 months to 5 years old.
Responsibilities
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages participation and engagement.
- Effectively manage classroom behavior to promote respect and cooperation among all children.
- Foster positive relationships with children to support their emotional and social development.
- Manage diaper changes, feeding times and hygiene practices for all children.
- Maintain a neat and organized classroom by wiping tables, sweeping and cleaning up toys.
- Greeting parents during pick-up times with a professional and friendly demeanor.
Requirements
- High school Diploma or GED.
- Experience working with children in a daycare setting.
- Available Monday through Friday 1:30PM to 6:00PM.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of students and staff.
