The Camanche Police Department is now accepting applications for the position of Police Officer! Salary Information:
- Starting pay for non-certified officers $66,467.11 and increases to $72,583.74 after one year probation
- $6,000 sign on bonus for Certified Officers

Qualification & Requirements:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Iowa Driver's License
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Reside within 30 miles of the City limits of Camanche, IA.
Testing (currently employed, certified Iowa Police Officers are not required to take the written or physical test).
All applicants are subject to a thorough background investigation, medical, psychological, and drug testing as provided by Iowa law, and may not be a user of any tobacco products, attested to by written agreement.
