Job Summary:
We are seeking a Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. As a Customer Service Associate / Cashier, you will provide exceptional customer service and handle transactions at the point of sale. This is a fast-paced role that requires attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Working Schedule
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 11 am - 7 pm
Duties:
- Greet customers and assist with their inquiries
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit cards, and mobile payments
- Scan and bag items for customers
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Bag 8 pounds of ice
- Stock shelves and coolers
- Clean floors
- Empty out trash in and outside of store
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred
- Basic math skills for retail calculations (e.g., calculating discounts, sales tax)
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
