Position Objective:
Responsible for the maintenance and preventive maintenance of building facilities, production equipment and grounds equipment to ensure minimal lost production due to breakdowns, downtime and provide a safe and healthy environment for teammates.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist with routine maintenance of production equipment, building systems, grounds, and facility areas.
2. Perform basic facilities upkeep tasks, including painting, mowing, cleaning, and maintaining tools and equipment
3. Support preventive maintenance activities and help maintain accurate maintenance records.
4. Inspect work areas, equipment, and facility spaces; report repair needs or safety concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.
5. Keep assigned work areas, job sites, facility grounds, and interior spaces clean, organized, and safe.
6. Follow company policies, safety procedures, and proper handling practices for industrial or hazardous waste.
7. Complete accurate daily time logs with account codes for work performed.
8. Assist with fixtures, tooling, repairs, and other assigned maintenance duties as needed
9. Maintain reliable attendance and a willingness to learn new maintenance skills.
Qualifications:
A. Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Technical, industrial, or maintenance-related coursework is preferred but not required.
Prior training in safety procedures or hazardous waste handling is preferred but not required.
B. Experience: No prior maintenance experience required; 0–2 years of general maintenance, facilities, manufacturing, mechanical, or basic electrical experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, painting, mowing, cleaning, equipment upkeep, or light repair work is preferred.
Candidate must be dependable, safety-minded, willing to learn, and able to follow instructions, complete assigned tasks, and work as part of a team.
