ADF Management Company is seeking a qualified part-time Maintenance Technician who can travel between multiple apartment communities located in Frankfort and Lebanon, Indiana. Previous maintenance experience is preferred. Interested parties should respond to this ad with their resume.
Position Overview: Responsible for turning vacant apartments, performing maintenance & repair of buildings and grounds as directed by management.
Essential Job Functions:
- Respond to resident requests for maintenance service in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.
- Repair and maintain simple electrical circuits, switches, outlets and lighting fixtures.
- Repair, install and maintain basic plumbing fixtures such as water heaters, lavatories, toilets, dishwashers.
- Basic Appliance Troubleshooting and Repair.
- Preparation of vacant units for new residents.
- Comply with all fair housing laws.
- Foster and maintain positive resident relations.
- Will report to each location as needed.
- Will be included in the on-call rotation.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to read and comprehend the English language.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
