Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable system architectures using Java, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
- Develop and maintain web applications utilizing JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular for engaging front-end experiences.
- Integrate cloud infrastructure solutions on platforms like AWS to optimize application deployment, performance, and security.
- Apply design patterns and best practices in software engineering to ensure maintainable, efficient codebases.
- Participate actively in Agile software development cycles, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Manage version control using tools like GitHub or SVN to track changes and facilitate collaborative development.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and integration processes for rapid delivery of features.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Java development with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure concepts including cloud services (AWS), Linux environments, and system design for scalable systems.
- Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails is a plus for backend integration projects.
- Knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL; experience with REST APIs and API design is essential.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies including Agile practices and version control systems like Git or SVN.
- Experience working with JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular for front-end development.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, design patterns, scalability considerations, and application security best practices.
