Duties
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure quality and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas through regular cleaning, sanitizing surfaces, and proper waste disposal
- Support food running and serving duties to ensure timely delivery of orders to guests or dining areas
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, and stock while practicing safe lifting techniques
- Buss tables and clear dishes promptly to uphold cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and billing accuracy
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to meet health regulations and standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with kitchen tasks such as cooking, food preparation, and cleaning
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience in banquet service or hotel hospitality environments is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail
