We are looking for a Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
- Test HVAC systems after installation or repair to verify proper operation
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed
- Follow EPA regulations and all applicable safety procedures
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and fellow team members
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Commercial HVAC Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment
- EPA Certification preferred
- Experience using diagnostic tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift equipment and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus, but not required
