About the Role
As a Tooling Maintenance Specialist, you will serve as the technical cornerstone for our stamping operations, ensuring peak performance and reliability of all production dies. You will play a pivotal role in modernizing our tooling infrastructure by implementing robust maintenance strategies and digitizing critical technical knowledge to drive long-term operational excellence.
Responsibilities-
Diagnose and resolve complex issues with progressive, compound, and secondary dies to maximize production uptime.

Execute comprehensive preventive maintenance programs to extend the operational life of critical tooling assets.

Fabricate and rework precision components to enhance quality standards and reduce manufacturing scrap.

Lead the transition of legacy tooling data into a centralized digital library to ensure sustainable knowledge management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine die setup procedures and optimize overall press efficiency.

Mentor production staff on best practices for tooling handling to prevent premature wear and damage.
Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience in a high-volume stamping or metal forming environment.

Proficiency in operating manual machine shop equipment including surface grinders, mills, and lathes.

Expertise in interpreting complex engineering blueprints and technical drawings.

Demonstrated ability to utilize precision measuring instruments for quality assurance.

Strong mechanical aptitude with a proven track record in root cause analysis and troubleshooting.

Practical experience with CNC machining and advanced fabrication techniques.

Proficiency in CAD software for tooling design and documentation.

Background in developing or managing preventive maintenance systems.
