Responsibilities
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process customer transactions, including cash handling, credit card payments, and digital payments.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product selections.
- Conduct product demos and upselling to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented and accessible.
- Manage inventory by performing regular stock checks, replenishing items, and assisting with inventory counts.
- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or coordinating with team members.
- Support overall store operations through effective communication skills and teamwork in a busy environment.
Qualifications
- Previous cashiering experience or familiarity with POS systems is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued to serve diverse customers effectively.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of tobacco store operations, merchandising, and stock management is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette.
