Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Framer Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for constructing the framework of buildings and structures, ensuring precision, safety, and quality at every stage. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, from metal building erection to intricate wood framing. Duties
- Erect metal buildings and install structural framing using schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Perform concrete forming and rebar installation to prepare foundations and structural supports
- Execute framing tasks including wood, metal stud framing, trim carpentry, and siding installation
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to cut, shape, and assemble materials on-site
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately to ensure precise construction according to design specifications
- Conduct roofing, stucco application, plastering, masonry work, and restoration projects as needed
- Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate project timelines and ensure safety compliance
- Use hand tools effectively for framing, carpentry, and finishing tasks while maintaining safety standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on framing carpentry and metal building erection
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation
- Familiarity with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, roofing, siding, and stucco application
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights on scaffolding or ladders when required
- Experience with remodeling projects and restoration work is a plus
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Valid construction or carpentry certifications preferred but not mandatory
