Position Summary
The Barback supports the bar and service teams in delivering a seamless, high-level hospitality experience. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organization, and full operational readiness of the bar while ensuring bartenders and service staff have everything needed for efficient service. The Barback plays a key role in supporting smooth beverage service, maintaining product availability, and contributing to an elevated guest experience in a fast-paced, fine dining environment.

Core Responsibilities

Support bartenders by restocking glassware, ice, liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and garnishes throughout service

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, service stations, and back-of-house areas before, during, and after service

Assist with opening and closing mise-en-place, including setup, breakdown, and deep cleaning of bar areas

Ensure proper rotation, storage, and organization of all beverage products and supplies

Transport and deliver items between bar, kitchen, and service areas to support efficient workflow

Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to the bar team or management
Service & Guest Experience

Ensure the bar meets the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health regulations

Approach guest interactions with warmth, confidence, and approachability

Create a welcoming, comfortable, and memorable impression for the guests throughout service

Demonstrate teamwork and support fellow staff during service

Uphold all service standards, reservation notes, and allergy protocols
Qualifications:
-
Experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality restaurant environments preferred

2+ year previous bar experience

Ability to multitask and maintain composure during busy service periods

Passion for hospitality, food, coffee and tea, cocktails , and continued learning

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours), and to crouch, bend, and lift or move with or without reasonable accommodation

Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: $11.35 per hour with tip credit
