Bassett Outdoor Alabama is a division of Bassett Furniture Industries (NASDAQ:BSET). Since 1902 Bassett Furniture has been a leader in domestic furniture manufacturing. Our Haleyville, Alabama facility was acquired in 2019 and produces products for our Lane Venture, Bassett Outdoor, and Bassett Outdoor Contract brands.
Bassett Outdoor Alabama is seeking experienced aluminum furniture fabricators to join our Haleyville manufacturing team. This position involves taking pre-cut aluminum furniture components and placing them into precision jigs, then tack-welding components in place using a MIG welding gun.
Associates must be able to read basic shop drawings, understand fixture setup, and maintain consistent weld quality to ensure proper fit and structural integrity before final welding stages. Attention to detail, safe welding practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a production environment are required. Must be able to lift 75 lbs.Prior metal working and MIG welding experience is required. Interviews are required, and wages will be discussed at interview time only, as compensation is dependent upon experience.
