We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dryclean Pant Presser to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for expertly pressing and finishing men's and women's pants to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and presentation. Duties
- Carefully press and finish pants using professional pressing equipment to achieve crisp, wrinkle-free results
- Inspect garments for any stains, damages, or irregularities before pressing and notify supervisors of any issues
- Handle customer garments with care, ensuring timely and accurate processing according to specific instructions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area to promote a safe and efficient workspace
- Assist with basic laundry tasks when needed, including sorting and preparing garments for cleaning or pressing
- Accurately process transactions by handling cash or card payments, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to provide excellent service and address any special requests
Requirements
- Previous experience in dry cleaning, laundry services, or hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of dry cleaning processes, garment care, and pressing techniques
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and measurements
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all clients
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Experience with cashiering or cash handling is a plus but not mandatory
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills in garment care and cleaning procedures
