We're looking for a dependable, hard-working team member to transport, clean, and care for Harley-Davidson motorcycles while helping keep our service department running smoothly.
This position is also one of the best pathways into our highly sought-after paid Harley-Davidson Technician Apprentice Program. Outstanding performers may be selected to train toward becoming a Certified Harley-Davidson Technician while earning a paycheck.
What You'll Do
- Safely load, unload, transport, and secure Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
- Move and maneuver motorcycles weighing up to 800 pounds throughout the dealership.
- Wash, detail, and prepare motorcycles for customer delivery and service.
- Operate a 24-foot box truck to transport motorcycles throughout the Anchorage area.
- Safely navigate residential neighborhoods, customer driveways, and commercial locations while operating the transport truck.
- Pick up and deliver customer motorcycles professionally and on schedule.
- Perform vehicle inspections before and after transport.
- Keep the transport truck, trailer, wash area, and workspaces clean and organized.
- Represent House of Harley-Davidson with friendly, professional customer service.
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Comfortable driving a large box truck in all weather and traffic conditions.
- Able to safely push, balance, and maneuver motorcycles weighing up to 800 pounds (with proper techniques and equipment).
- Able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Strong attention to detail when washing and preparing motorcycles.
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused.
- Motorcycle experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person.
- Able to pass DOT Physical for Driving Commercial Vehicle
