The agency desires the services of a community liaison who would put patients first and provide care with integrity and passion.
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Community Liaison. As a Community Liaison, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders in the community. You will work closely with community organizations, local government agencies, and other key partners to promote awareness of our programs and services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to engage the community and increase awareness of our organization's mission and goals
- Serve as a liaison between our organization and community partners, fostering positive relationships and collaboration
- Conduct outreach activities to educate the community about available resources and services
- Coordinate and participate in community events, workshops, and presentations
- Collect data on community needs, trends, and feedback to inform program development and improvement
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing materials, including social media content, newsletters, and press releases
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff members involved in community engagement initiatives
- Supervise volunteers or interns assisting with community outreach efforts
- Represent our organization at public meetings, conferences, and other relevant events
- Manage projects related to community engagement, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgetary constraints
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., marketing, healthcare administration, public health, social work, communications) or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in community engagement or related roles
- Knowledge of market trends in the field of addiction counseling or public health preferred
- Strong program development skills with the ability to identify community needs and develop initiatives accordingly
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis to inform decision-making processes
- Excellent social media management skills for promoting events and engaging with the community online
- Strong leadership abilities with experience supervising staff or volunteers
- Exceptional public speaking skills for delivering presentations to diverse audiences
- Effective project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
