Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN for our Assistant Director of Nursing position to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. The ideal candidate will assist the DON in directing nursing team, implement best practices, and maintain regulatory compliance.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise all nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain resident rights
- Oversee shift management to ensure adequate staffing levels
- Utilize medical terminology effectively in documentation and communication
- Coordinate with other departments to provide comprehensive care
- Manage systems for efficient patient care delivery
- Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care provided
Requirements:
-Associate Degree or Higher
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations and care planning
- Experience in home care or long-term care settings is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in a healthcare setting
