Operational Supplies Specialist

Summary: Develop relationships with customers and drive sales for operational supplies to a specified territory and customer base. Operational supplies include, but not limited to packaging supplies, boots, gloves, knives, clothing, material handling, etc. The Customer base will be managed and developed through high-value interactions with the customer via outbound/inbound calls, emails/messaging, e-commerce platforms, customer visits, and tradeshows.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage, develop, and grow a $2.5M-$3.0M territory by providing superior customer service and conducting high-value interactions with the assigned customers to help meet the team's and company's goals.

Outgoing, self-starter that is results-driven. Skillset for identifying new prospects, promoting products, and securing business.
- Ability to qualify opportunities, make decisions on pricing, and quote customers.
- Excellent organization, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create contacts, prepare quotations, enter orders, and log interactions in the CRM.

Communicate inventory needs to the Purchasing department to anticipated customer needs and minimize stockouts. Expedite the Distribution Center as required.

Provide feedback to Management and the Marketing group regarding enhancements to the printed literature, electronic or social media, e-commerce platforms, and our product offerings.

Share leads, critical customers information, and market intel with the Equipment, Parts, and Service teams.

5-10% travel required, which may fluctuate each year according to customer visits, tradeshows, and training.
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum two (2) years related experience in customer service or sales; five (5) years preferred.

Experience in a technical setting or knowledge of food packaging and supplies preferred.

High school/GED required; associates or bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Bi-lingual/Spanish capabilities a plus, but not required.
Computer Skills:

Knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.

Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Dynamics365 experience preferred.
