Strauss Feeds is a division of Strauss Dairy Group. We are committed to being the premier manufacturer of calf milk replacer. We specialize in supplying calf ranches, dairies, distributors, and retail farm stores with quality milk replacers and related young animal products. We take great pride in the products that we manufacture and our company core values. We have experienced significant growth over the past year and have found ourselves in need of additional plant operators.
We are looking for a dedicated, dependable candidate to work our, 2nd Shift, Monday – Friday 4:00 pm to 1:30am with occasional overtime opportunities.

Plant Operator (full time) - $22.00 up to $23.25 per hour starting pay.
Job Duties/Essential Functions (Note: The job functions relate to the job, not the individual.)
· Sealing bags
· Loading and unloading trucks
· Housekeeping (cleaning)
· Lifting of 50# on a continuous basis
· Operating Forklift
· Minimal computer work
Qualifications
· Ability to repetitively lift 50#s
· Willing to obtain and maintain forklift certification
· Ability to operate a pallet jack
· Ability to stand extended periods of time
· Work well alone and with others
· Ability to communicate effectively with other employees and team members
· Align with our company core values
· Basic computer skills
· Willingness to gain in depth understanding of product, production process, quality and equipment
· Ability to frequently bend and twist at waist and climb ladder/steps
· Be able and available to work overtime as needed
· Willing to cross train on all production stations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
