Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential units, or common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and applying appropriate treatments to preserve flooring quality
- Ensure all sanitation standards are met by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces regularly
- Conduct detailed cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning and upholstery maintenance using specialized equipment
- Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests or residents
- Follow established safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning chemicals to promote a safe environment
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning and custodial roles
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and floor care techniques
- Ability to perform laundry duties efficiently with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills to address guest or resident needs courteously
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards or janitorial experience preferred
- Basic cooking skills are a plus for preparing light refreshments or assisting in hospitality settings
- Experience with carpet cleaning equipment and housekeeper management systems is advantageous
