Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair of equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various mechanical and electrical systems.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Fabricate parts as needed to support repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Utilize logic controllers for troubleshooting and maintaining automated systems.
- Supervise and lead maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and efficiency.
- Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues accurately.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems, machinery, and other equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Communicate effectively in English with team members and other departments regarding maintenance needs and updates.
Skills
- Strong background in facilities maintenance with hands-on experience in electrical systems.
- Proficient in fabricating parts and components as required for repairs.
- Knowledge of logic controllers and their application in automated systems.
- Leadership skills with experience supervising maintenance personnel or projects.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings for effective troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with CMMS for tracking maintenance activities and inventory management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
