Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care on an as-needed basis. The RN is responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing nursing care plans, administering medications, coordinating care, and ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
- Document assessments, treatments, and patient outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and infection control standards.
Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred for some settings).
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing patient care needs.
- Flexible availability to meet PRN scheduling requirements.
