An Exterior Sales Representative is responsible for independently driving sales by representing BDM Construction Inc DBA Best Roofing Exterior Contracting Services (BRECS) in the field, building relationships, generating leads, and closing exterior construction projects.
This role is ideal for a highly motivated self-starter who takes ownership of their success and confidently promotes themselves as a trusted representative of the company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Proactively generate and manage sales opportunities through self-directed outreach, including calls, emails, texts, door-to-door visits, and follow-ups
- Actively promote yourself as a professional representative of BDM Construction Inc DBA Best Roofing Exterior Contracting Services (BRECS), building trust and credibility with homeowners and business owners
- Make outbound calls to sales leads and independently pursue new prospects
- Follow up with leads, inspections, and estimates in a timely and consistent manner
- Inspect and document homes for exterior projects, taking full responsibility for an accurate and complete scope of work, and ensuring a seamless handoff to Project Management to keep projects on track with projected timelines.
- Identify and evaluate additional exterior damage or improvement opportunities
- Create detailed estimates, scopes of work, and material lists
- Confidently overcome objections and close sales without constant supervision
- Achieve and consistently exceed monthly sales goals through persistence, discipline, and strong work ethic
- Attend monthly sales meetings to set goals, share progress, and collaborate with the team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM, including client communication and job status
- Maintain all required sales documentation (estimates, contracts, scopes of work, material lists)
- Uphold exceptional customer service standards while representing the company in the field
- Manage time efficiently, plan routes and schedules independently, and maintain high productivity
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace and company vehicle
Marketing & Lead Generation:
- Take ownership of personal lead generation, including door-knocking, networking, referrals, and follow-ups
- Consistently promote BDM Construction Inc DBA Best Roofing Exterior Contracting Services (BRECS) services through professional communication and in-person interactions
- Build long-term customer relationships to drive referrals and repeat business
- Maintain social media presence with picture videos etc. for BDM Construction Inc DBA Best Roofing Exterior Contracting Services (BRECS)
Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or higher
- Strong self-motivation with the ability to work independently and without micromanagement
- Proven ability to promote oneself confidently as a company representative
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Comfortable with face-to-face customer interactions
- CRM experience preferred
- Ability to climb ladders and access rooftops
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs
- Valid Driver’s License (Required)
- Strong time management, organization, and follow-through skills
