Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Concrete Laborer for an upcoming project in Portland, OR. The ideal person for this role will have prior construction industry experience.
Wage:
$24+/hr (depending on experience)
Concrete Laborer Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in pouring, spreading, and finishing concrete for various structures.
- Perform manual labor such as shovel work, moving materials, and stripping forms.
- Prepare and clean construction sites by removing debris and ensuring safe, organized work environments.
- Set up, clean, and maintain forms for concrete pours.
- Use hand tools (shovels, hammers, etc.) to assist with various tasks.
- Assist with setting and moving materials, including rebar and other concrete components.
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe work environment.
- Adhere to instructions and help troubleshoot as needed to solve on-site issues.
- Maintain a high standard of work quality, efficiency, and safety.
Concrete Laborer Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction or concrete labor.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and construction site safety.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain focus on job tasks.
