Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable CompTIA Certified Instructor to join our team and deliver engaging, comprehensive technical training sessions. Duties
- Deliver compelling online and classroom-based courses on CompTIA certifications, including topics such as computer networking, security, and troubleshooting.
- Use developed detailed lesson plans that incorporate learning technology tools like Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Blackboard to enhance student engagement.
- Facilitate interactive instruction in A+, Network+, Security+, CySA+, SecurityAI+ ensuring concepts are accessible and applicable.
- Provide tutoring and personalized support to students working toward certification or seeking to improve their technical proficiency.
- Design assessments and practical exercises that reinforce learning objectives and prepare students for real-world IT challenges.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends in web development, software development, and networking to ensure course content remains relevant.
- Track student progress, provide feedback and guidance to help learners succeed in their educational journey.
Skills
- Strong expertise in computer networking, cybersecurity, and computer operation
- Proven experience teaching information technology at higher education or adult education levels with classroom experience preferred.
- Proficiency with learning technology tools including uCertify and other online instruction resources.
- Ability to deliver engaging lesson plans that incorporate real world experience, problems, and solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with a talent for working with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
- Experience in technical training or tutoring roles with a focus on adult education or higher education settings.
- Familiarity with instructional design principles for online instruction and classroom environments.
