Busy Oral & Facial Surgery practice seeking an experienced Financial Coordinator who is highly motivated, dependable, and a strong team player looking for a long-term position.
This role has evolved with the use of a third-party billing partner, allowing our Financial Coordinator to focus more on patient experience, financial coordination, and case presentation rather than full-cycle insurance processing.

Key Responsibilities
- Present and explain treatment plans, fees, and financing options clearly to patients
- Prepare and review patient estimates based on insurance benefit information
- Verify insurance benefits and coordinate with our billing partner (Prospa Billing)
- Act as liaison between the practice, patients, and billing service for claims and account follow-up
- Collect and post patient payments; manage daily deposits
- Monitor accounts receivable and assist with patient balance follow-up
- Answer patient questions regarding billing, insurance, and financing
- Support front office operations and assist with scheduling when needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of dental and/or medical insurance experience required
- Oral surgery or specialty practice experience preferred
- Experience with practice management software (WinOMS a plus, not required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong understanding of insurance basics and patient financial workflows
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

Compensation & Benefits
- $24–$27/hour (commensurate with experience)
