Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fine dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders using OpenTable or similar systems, ensuring all guest preferences are noted.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for the next guests.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy, enhancing guest relations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Stay informed about menu changes, daily specials, and culinary offerings to provide knowledgeable recommendations.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Server in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous.
- Strong math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to create memorable dining experiences.
- A passion for culinary arts and an understanding of fine dining etiquette is a plus.
