Title: Member Service Representative

Position Pay Range: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour (starting pay generally between $18.00-$22.00 per hour)
Position Type: Part-time (estimated 20 hrs/wk.)

Position Purpose:
The MSR performs many credit union duties in the course of a day without any one major focus. The MSR utilizes a broad knowledge of credit union products and services, policies and procedures, rules and regulations.
Job Description:
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide high-quality member service across all channels: in-person, over the phone, and via electronic mediums.
- Process member transactions to include deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, check cashing, account verification, etc.
- Open and close accounts and certificates, as well as any other services available at the credit union.
Answer member questions regarding these services.
- Cross-sell products and services offered by the credit union.
- Provide primary or backup duty on a number of functions to include paid-loans, certificate maturities, dormancy, and other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND TRAITS
- Must understand and comply with the regulations and policies we are required to follow.
- Must have a strong attention to detail and perform transactions and duties with minimal errors.
- Must be adaptable to change.
- Must have moderate or greater proficiency with all computer applications necessary to perform the job (the internet, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe, the core banking system, etc.).
- Must be flexible to work varying hours Monday-Friday from 8:15am-4:45pm.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
