What You’ll Do
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Perform laboratory testing and prepare accurate reports.
- Verify products for compliance with UL, CSA, FM, customer, and company requirements.
- Maintain quality, calibration, REACH, and RoHS records.
- Identify and communicate product or quality concerns.
- Support internal audits, product testing, and continuous-improvement activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and management.
What We’re Looking For
- Two to three years of quality inspection, quality assurance, laboratory testing, or related manufacturing experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and recordkeeping skills.
- Basic understanding of inspection, measurement, and calibration methods.
- Ability to interpret test results and identify quality concerns.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with others.
Experience with UL, CSA, FM, ISO, REACH, or RoHS requirements is helpful but not required. Technical training or experience in wire and cable manufacturing is also a plus.
Physical Requirements
Candidates must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach frequently and occasionally lift or move materials weighing up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. This position requires working around laboratory equipment and industrial machinery and wearing required personal protective equipment.
