We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Work alongside experienced electricians to learn about various electrical components and systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Participate in troubleshooting electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
- Follow National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Gain experience with low voltage and high voltage systems under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Skills
- Prior experience as an industrial or commercial electrician is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment is essential.
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and concepts is preferred.
- Experience in construction site environments is beneficial for practical application of skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
