We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing to lead our care team and ensure the highest standards of clinical excellence in our assisted living community.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight to nursing and caregiving staff.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, company policies, and standards of care.
- Oversee medication management programs and resident care plans.
- Conduct assessments of residents’ health needs and coordinate appropriate levels of care.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to support professional growth and high performance.
- Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure resident well-being.
- Monitor quality assurance programs and implement improvements where needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Current LPN or RN license (state of employment required).
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing leadership experience (preferably in assisted living, long-term care, or senior living).
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance in assisted living and medication management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
