Food Service Director – Skilled Nursing Facility

What You'll Do
- Lead and oversee all daily dietary and kitchen operations.
- Ensure compliance with New Jersey Department of Health, state, federal, and CMS regulations.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule dietary team members.
- Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian to develop menus, including therapeutic and special diets.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and infection control.
- Manage food inventory, purchasing, vendor relationships, and departmental budgets.
- Partner with the Recreation Department to coordinate monthly Resident Food Committee meetings and enhance the dining experience.
- Maintain survey readiness through accurate documentation and adherence to regulatory standards.
What We're Looking For
- At least 1 year of food service management experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with therapeutic diets and healthcare food service is preferred.
