Primary Purpose:
Evaluate, intervene, consult, and deliver services as required by the school districts, community agencies, and HCDE.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:

Degree from an accredited university

Current license issued by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
Special Knowledge/Skills:
-
Effective/efficient oral and written communication skills

Reliable transportation to/from work and between work-sites
-
Efficient mobility within the work-site
-
Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
-
Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records
-
General knowledge of computer systems and software applications

Ability to serve as supervisor for physical therapist assistant and serve as professional student supervisor
Experience:
-
Experience in pediatrics and/or the school setting desirable
-
One year of experience preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Use evidence in practice, evaluation, data collection, documentation and recommendations.

Evaluate to determine educational need for services.

Provide intervention to support student participation and performance in accordance with state laws and/or professional standards.

Document and maintain service-related records.
