Responsibilities
- Lead all day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects.
- Direct and supervise subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the project schedule.
- Coordinate daily jobsite activities, deliveries, equipment, and manpower.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and identify conflicts before work begins.
- Ensure all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and building codes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite while enforcing OSHA and company safety requirements.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and toolbox talks.
- Verify completed work before requesting inspections.
- Coordinate with inspectors to obtain required approvals throughout construction.
- Maintain daily job reports, including manpower, weather, work completed, inspections, and jobsite issues.
- Assist with layout, field measurements, and verification of dimensions as needed.
- Identify field problems early and communicate them promptly to the Project Manager.
- Monitor subcontractor productivity and hold crews accountable for schedule and workmanship.
- Coordinate material deliveries and verify materials are correct before installation.
- Ensure the project remains on schedule by planning work several weeks in advance.
- Manage punch list completion and oversee project closeout.
- Be willing to travel to project sites throughout Northeast Georgia and surrounding areas.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent.
- Proven experience supervising commercial construction projects from groundbreaking through completion.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and sequencing.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings.
- Experience supervising multiple subcontractors simultaneously.
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and hold subcontractors accountable.
- Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver's license.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
