Responsibilities
- Earn $22.00-$24.00/HR based on experience
- Average $1,000-$1,500 weekly depending on overtime
- Paid Weekly | Weekends Off
- Full-time Class B delivery position with local and regional routes
- Monday-Friday schedule
- Dispatch between 3:00 AM-5:00 AM depending on assigned route
- Average 10-12 hour shifts
- Operate a 28' Straight Truck with Liftgate hauling pet food products
- Deliver Hill's Pet Food to veterinary clinics and pet stores using roll carts and manual pallet jacks
- Complete local routes on Monday, Thursday, and Friday and an overnight Illinois route departing Tuesday and returning Wednesday
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL required
- Minimum 24 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Must be at least 23 years old
- Experience operating a straight truck with liftgate preferred
- Comfortable performing touch freight deliveries
- Ability to unload freight using roll carts and manual pallet jacks
- Comfortable with 1-2 overnight layovers per week
- Ability to work independently and access the cross-dock facility before and after routes
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail required
- Must pass a DOT Drug Screen, Physical, Background Check, and MVR Review
