Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities across multiple sites, ensuring all tasks meet established sanitation and safety standards
- Manage and motivate custodial staff through effective team supervision, providing training, support, and performance feedback
- Develop cleaning schedules and assign tasks to optimize efficiency and coverage in commercial, industrial, or hospitality settings
- Enforce safety regulations related to cleaning procedures and equipment use to maintain a secure work environment
- Oversee inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and proper maintenance
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness levels, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Foster excellent customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and maintaining professional communication with stakeholders
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in custodial or janitorial services within commercial or industrial environments
- Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and safety regulations relevant to large-scale facilities
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and communicate managerial expectations clearly
- Experience in managing cleaning & sanitation operations, including industrial cleaning processes when applicable
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to develop schedules, manage inventories, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Background in hospitality or housekeeping management is a plus, highlighting versatility in team management and customer service excellence
- Prior experience with laundry services or specialized cleaning such as healthcare or sanitation environments is advantageous
