Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Environmental Inspector to join our team and ensure the highest standards of environmental compliance across construction projects. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive site inspections to verify compliance with environmental regulations and project specifications
- Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and building codes related to environmental standards and construction plans
- Monitor construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to environmental permits, safety protocols, and quality control measures
- Perform quality inspections of materials and work processes to uphold project standards and regulatory requirements
- Analyze data collected during inspections to identify potential environmental risks or violations and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure projects meet all environmental and construction regulatory compliance standards
- Document inspection findings through detailed reports, photographs, and logs for project records and regulatory submissions
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction inspection or site supervision within civil infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of building codes, schematics, blueprints reading, and technical drawings relevant to construction projects
- Familiarity with construction regulatory compliance, quality control processes, and environmental protection standards
- Construction experience in public infrastructure or pipeline projects is highly desirable
- Excellent analysis skills for interpreting technical data, schematics, and construction plans
- Hands-on experience with construction site inspections, quality assurance, and contract management
- Ability to collect accurate data during site visits and document findings clearly and thoroughly
- Working knowledge of construction management practices including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and adherence to safety protocols
