Title: Temp Ink Inplant Tech I
Location: Dawsonville, GA
Shift: 2nd shift, Monday-Friday, 4pm-12am (Train on 1st shift, Monday- Friday, 8am to 4pm)
Pay: $22/hour
JOB OVERVIEW: An Inplant Ink Technician manages on-site ink blending, quality control, and color matching inside a client’s printing or packaging facility. Acting as a direct liaison between the ink manufacturer (Sun Chemical) and the customer, the tech ensures printing presses keep running smoothly without color defects.
Essential Job Duties:
- Produce and quality control inks to ensure inks meet or exceed the customer’s specifications.
- Maintain housekeeping and safe operations
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lb. buckets; and move 500 lb. drums following standard procedures.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years industry experience
- Knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook
- This is a customer-facing position that requires a high degree of interpersonal skill
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs. throughout the day
- Able to stand for long periods of time
