We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Hotel Manager to lead daily operations, increase revenue, and help continue growing our reputation as Eagle Grove’s preferred locally owned hotel.
Position Summary
The Hotel Manager will oversee daily hotel operations, guest satisfaction, staff leadership, and property performance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, problem-solving, team leadership, and creating a welcoming environment for guests and employees alike.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day hotel operations
- Manage front desk operations and guest services
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff
- Ensure excellent guest satisfaction and respond to guest concerns professionally
- Coordinate housekeeping and maintenance operations
- Monitor budgets, expenses, inventory, and operational performance
- Support local marketing efforts and community partnerships
- Ensure hotel cleanliness, safety, and brand standards are maintained
- Assist with reservations, check-ins, and operational coverage when needed
Qualifications
- Previous hotel, hospitality, or management experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Customer service focused with a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Basic computer and reservation system knowledge
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Flexible availability
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Preferred Experience
- Hotel management or assistant manager experience
- Sales or local business networking experience
- Experience managing teams and schedules
- Knowledge of housekeeping and maintenance coordination
