Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions among children.
- Provide individualized support for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention.
- Engage children in literacy education through storytelling, reading activities, and interactive learning experiences.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child’s progress and development.
- Observe and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning experience across the preschool curriculum.
Requirements
- Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education settings.
- Strong skills in lesson planning and classroom management.
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies and special education practices is preferred.
- Ability to create engaging activities that support literacy education and behavioral development.
- Experience working with toddlers and young children in a classroom setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
