Registered Nurse ICU
Location: Utica, New York
Pay Rate: $2,000 To $2,268/Week
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM 7:00 AM
Experience: Minimum 2 years required; 4 5 years preferred
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in Utica, New York. This role supports a high-acuity 42-bed ICU with Neuro/Med ICU, CTICU, and Surgical/Trauma ICU patient populations. The ideal candidate must have strong ICU experience, prior travel experience, EPIC documentation skills, CRRT/Prismaflex experience, and the ability to float as needed.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care for ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, and Neuro ICU patients
Manage high-acuity cases including stroke, sepsis, respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI, cardiogenic shock, trauma, and major post-op patients
Operate and monitor specialty equipment including IABP, CRRT/Prisma or NxStage, ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and Arctic Sun
Document patient assessments, interventions, and updates accurately using EPIC
Float to other units as needed and collaborate with interdisciplinary critical care teams
Requirements
Active New York RN License Required
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; 4 5 years preferred
Prior travel nursing experience required
AHA, BLS,BCLS, ACLS, And NIHSS Certifications Required
CRRT and Prismaflex experience required; heart experience highly preferred
