We're looking for 1 delivery driver/mover to add to our team here at Homeplace! we are a small family owned store with locations. Looking to fill for a part time position, 2-3 days a week, transporting furniture between our warehouse, store and our Oregon customers. Possible full time position in the future for those willing to learn more about the industry!
We are looking for safe, conscientious driver with a clean driving record for the last 2-3 years. You must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
Movers are responsible for ensuring that items are undamaged and placed in the correct position in the new location. The successful candidate will be responsible for working safely, independently, and following given instructions.
Soft skills are required too! As a delivery person for a furniture store you are the final face our customers will see of us perhaps for a while. As such we need someone who has customer service skills, to be able to treat people and their homes with respect and courtesy, as you are their guest while making deliveries in the home. To be able to handle a customer who may be upset and defer them to us so we can handle their issues.
