Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations within a regulated, service‑driven organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance, financial accuracy, and organizational stability. The ideal candidate brings deep accounting expertise, strong regulatory knowledge, and a proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the entire accounting cycle, from daily transactions to financial reporting and audit preparation
- Maintain accurate general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, HIPAA, and applicable state and federal regulations
- Oversee biweekly ADP payroll processing and payroll tax filings
- Manage cash flow forecasting, invoicing, and banking activities
- Prepare and manage grant applications, reporting, invoicing, and audit readiness
- Coordinate with auditors, agencies, and internal leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related
- Knowledge of Medicaid Waiver billing and compliance is a bonus
- Grant accounting and regulatory reporting experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, Quicken, Microsoft 365, and ADP Workforce (preferred)
- Familiarity with WVOASIS, DHHR, and DEP regulations
- Supervisory experience a plus
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
