As a Plumber with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you’ll support our customers on potential commercial and residential projects located in Tampa, FL and surrounding areas. Measure, cut, thread, or bend pipe to required angle, using hand or power tools or machines such as pipe cutters, pipe-threading machines, or pipe-bending machines.
Install and repair water, gas, and other piping systems in homes, businesses, and factories. Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, fixtures using hand or power tools. Install Clean drains, remove obstructions, and repair or replace broken pipes and fixtures.
Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.
Be at least 18+ years of age.
Minimum of four years commercial plumbing experience required.
Follow state and local building codes, determine the materials and equipment needed for a job, install pipes and fixtures, inspect and test installed pipe systems and pipelines, troubleshoot malfunctioning systems, maintain and repair plumbing systems.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Prior experience in the commercial field required
Possess tools of the trade
Position may require a drug screen
